1. Agreement to Terms
By registering, paying fees, or occupying accommodation at The Shivay Palace, residents and their lawful parents or guardians agree to abide fully by these institutional terms and conduct policies.
2. Admission & Tenancy Tenure
Admission is confirmed upon completion of verification documentation, payment of the security deposit, and clearance of the advance rental fee. Tenancy is typically contracted on a semester or academic year basis.
3. Fee Schedule & Payment Obligations
- Monthly rental dues must be remitted on or before the designated monthly due date via online transfer, cheque, or UPI.
- The refundable security deposit (₹8,000 - ₹10,000) is returned at the end of the academic session upon inspection of the room and clearance of electric sub-meter bills.
- Electric consumption for in-room air conditioning is calculated via individual room sub-meters and charged according to Gujarat state power board tariff slabs.
4. Code of Conduct & Safety Directives
- Night Curfew: For student safety, all residents must return to the hostel by 10:00 PM IST unless granted prior written parental approval.
- Substance-Free Zone: The consumption, possession, or distribution of alcohol, tobacco, narcotics, or unauthorized substances is strictly prohibited and results in immediate expulsion.
- Quiet Study Hours: To preserve the scholarly environment, loud noise or disruption is prohibited in residential corridors after 10:30 PM.
